Advice for the Couple


Before we wrap up the evening, take a minute to share some advice with Challice and Billy. As exciting as a wedding and marriage is, we all have weaknesses and times of trouble.   2. I think the best thing I've ever heard/learned is that love is a choice. Yes, there is the feeling of love, but ultimately, you choose to love someone. So don't ever forget to choose to love your spouse, but also don't forget to remember you are chosen to be loved.

  4. HUMBLE yourself.
    Its the hardest thing to do, but its what not only will keep the marriage civil, but it will help you grow so much spiritually. If we understand just a tiny bit how to humble ourselves, it will go a long way.

  5. Make sure that each other's quiet time with God is important. Remind each other to take time with God, even when you don't feel like it.

  6. As hard as it sometimes is, keep God and His word at the center of your lives, always respect each other, put each other first, forgive one another, laugh often, appreciate the little things, serve one another, cherish each other. Marriage is a lot of work, but it's worth it.
